હેલોવીન સ્પેશીયલ ( આ વાર્તા સાચી છે કે કેમ તેની મને ખબર નથી. પણ તે અસરકારક જરુર છે. )

ઘણા વખત પહેલાં, એક દીવસ અમેરીકાના મીઝોરી રાજ્યના પાટનગર સેન્ટ લુઈની એક કમ્પનીમાં કામ કરતા માણસો બપોરના જમણ પછી પાછા આવ્યા; ત્યારે નોટીસબોર્ડ ઉપર એક નોટીસ મુકેલી તેમણે જોઈ.

એ નોટીસમાં લખ્યું હતું ,

” તમારા વીકાસની આડે અત્યાર સુધી કમ્પનીની જે વ્યક્તી આવતી હતી; તેનું ગઈકાલે અકાળ અવસાન થયું છે. કસરત માટેના હોલમાં તેની અંતીમ ક્રીયાની વ્યવસ્થા કરાઈ છે. તેના અંતીમ દર્શન કરી તેને છેલ્લું માન આપવા, સૌએ ત્યાં રીસેસ પતે તે બાદ ભેગા થવાનું છે.”

એક સાથી કામદારનું મૃત્યુ થયાના આ સમાચારે, પહેલાં તો બધાંને સ્વાભાવીક રીતે દુખ થયું. પણ પછી આ વ્યક્તી કોણ છે તે જાણવાની બધાંને ઈંતેજારી પણ થઈ. બધા કસરતના હોલમાં એ વ્યક્તીને માન આપવા ભેગા થવા માંડ્યા. જેમ જેમ હાજરી વધતી ગઈ; તેમ તેમ સૌની ઈંતેજારી પણ વધતી ગઈ.

‘ એવું કોણ હતું કે જે આપણા વીકાસની આડે આવતું હતું? ચાલો હવે તે વ્યક્તી અવલ ધામ પહોંચી ગઈ, તે તો સારું જ થહ્યું ! ’ બધાંના મનમાં આ જ વીચાર ચાલતો હતો.

બધા એકઠા થયા બાદ કમ્પનીના વડાએ કહ્યું. “કોફીન પાસે વારાફરતી એક એક જણ આવે અને ગુજરી જનારના દર્શન કરી, પોતપોતાની જગ્યાએ જાય.“

ટાંકણી પણ પડે તો સંભળાય તેવા સાર્વજનીક મૌનની વચ્ચે, એક એક વ્યક્તી, તે કોફીનના ખુલા રાખેલા ઢાંકણા પાસે જવા માંડી અને કોફીનમાં નજર નાંખી; અવાક બની પોતાના સ્થાને જવા રવાના થઈ. બધાં વીચાર કરતાં થઈ ગયાં હતાં.

કોફીનની અંદર એક આરસી રાખેલી હતી! સૌને એમાં પોતાનું ‘ ભુત ‘ દેખાયું !!

એની બાજુમાં એક બોર્ડ ઉપર લખેલું હતું,

“આ એક જ વ્યક્તી એવી છે; જે તમારા વીકાસની મર્યાદા આંકે છે અને તમારી સૌથી વધારે આડે આવે છે!

તે તમે જ છો!

આ જ એકમાત્ર વ્યક્તી છે; જે તમારા જીવનમાં આમુલ પરીવર્તન લાવી શકે છે. તમે જ તમારા સુખ કે દુખને સરજી શકો છો; અને તમારી સફળતા સીધ્ધ કરી શકો છો. તમે જ એકલા તમારી પોતાની મદદ કરી શકો તેમ છો. તમારા ઉપરી, તમારા મીત્રો, તમારા માબાપ, તમારા જીવનસાથી કે તમારી કમ્પની બદલાય તેના માત્રથી તમારી જીંદગી ખાસ બદલાઈ જતી નથી. જ્યારે તમે બદલાઓ છો; ત્યારે જ તમારી જીંદગી બદલાઈ જતી હોય છે.

જ્યારે તમે તમારી માન્યતાઓથી ઉપરવટ જઈને વીચારવા લાગો; ત્યારે જ તમને પ્રતીતી થશે કે, એક માત્ર તમે જ તમારા જીવન માટે જવાબદાર છો.

તમારા બધા સંબંધોમાં સૌથી વધારે અગત્યનો સંબંધ, તમારી જાત સાથેનો તમારો સંબંધ છે. “
