Book database migration for drupal 5 to drupal 6
Hi.. How are you all.. its been nice to present PHP script for the database migration of book from drupal 5 to drupal 6.
After a lot of goggling I came to a conclusion that there are scripts for migrating drupal 5 db to drupal 6 db. In fact drupal itself provides upgrading mechanism for druapal 5 -> drupal 6. But somehow neither drupal nor someone else has provided any way to migrate drupal book from d5 to d6.
Drupal 5 book is fairly simple in managing its hierarchy as it manages entire hierarchy using parent and weight etc fields but drupal 6 is little tough to understand , specifically menu_link table, which has p1,p2,p3 for managing book hierarchy, this table is introduced in D6 only..
After investing quite a few quality hours , we (our team) have created a script which can migrate d5 book to d6 book. It seems like a small achievement for us. We put it also in drupal community site. http://drupal.org/node/1061002 So in future if anyone who is not the member of virtueinfo family can use it also. so its like open to the world. We are glad if this script will be used & helpful to others.
And ya.. We are very eager if any one have faced same problem but find solution better then us Or found any mistake in our script . Then please inform us about that. We are very glad from getting improve the solution.
If possible we will upload new version with polished logic, but I hope this would solve some ones concern and thus our work will come handy to drupal community..
Its great work from virtueinfo drupal team. Its like a small achievement for us that makes a script & upload it to the drupal community site. I hope that this kind of work will continues.

Hallowin Special
Long ago, one day the people saw a notice on the notice board when they came back after lunch hour working in a leading company of Saint Lui, the capital of Missouri a state of United States of America.
That notice included,
“A person of our company is accidentally died yesterday, who was the obstacle in your development. We have arranged his last rites in the Exercise hall.” We have to gather in the Exercise Hall to pay homage to that gentleman’s soul, in the recess time.
Naturally, every one was very sad after listening this news. As their colleague is no more. But later on, every one was excited to know that who is that guy. Every one was started to gather in the Exercise hall to pay homage. Excitement of every one was increasing, ‘who was that person?? Who was obstacle for us?? Okay, its good to know that now that obstacle is no more!’ Every one was thinking like that.
When every one was gathered near coffin, The Director of the company requested all to come near by coffin, one by one to pay homage, and then back to their seats.
It was pin drop silence among all, and every body went to see the gentleman near the coffin which was open. Every body was shocked after seeing the coffin, and then took their seat, every one was thinking.
There was a mirror in the coffin! Every body saw them self in mirror!!
There was a sentence on the board beside it,
“This is the only person, who is the obstacle for yourself.” Only you are the obstacle between you and your progress!
That’s only you!
This is the only person who is able to bring drastic changes in your life. Only you can make your happiness and sad moments; and achieve the success you want. You only can help your self. If you will change your seniors, friends, parents, life partner or company, that can not change your life a lot. But your life can be changed only when you are changed.
You can feel that only you are the responsible for your life, when you start to think beyond your believes.
The most important relationship in your life is only with your self among your each and every relationship.

Sensitive E-skin for Robots
That day is not so far when robots will be touchy and feely like humans. Robots that made from metal in human size can do multiple works. These robots look same as human and can do different kind of work, these robots will have now skin that identify sensitivity of skins.
Because of this skin, now modern robots will look exactly like human and while touching them they will make us to feel same sensitivity and softness just like human being. Researchers of California University had tried to make sensitive fingers of robot that can pick up the delicate drinking glass carefully.
They also made e-skin for such robots from in organic materials. For this they used germanium/silicon nanowires on a cylindrical drum, which was then rolled onto a sticky substrate. This e-skin is one kind of chip which is slimmer like rubber and it make robot to feel touch. This robot can carry a child and play with him without any harassment.
The substrate used was a polyimide film, but the technique could be used with a variety of materials, including other plastics, paper or glass, the team said. The nanowires were deposited by the drum onto the substrate in an orderly fashion, and then the substrate was processed into thin, flexible sheets.
For the e-skin, the engineers printed the nanowires onto an 18-by-19 pixel square matrix measuring 7 centimeters on each side. Each pixel contained a transistor made up of hundreds of semiconductor nanowires. Nanowire transistors were then integrated with a pressure sensitive rubber on top to provide the sensing functionality.
The matrix required less than 5 volts of power to operate and maintained its robustness after being subjected to more than 2,000 bending cycles.
The e-skin developed by the team can detect pressure from 1 to 15 kilopascals. That's about the amount of pressure used to complete daily activities like typing on a keyboard or holding an object, the researchers said.
Such sensitivity is necessary to create a human prosthetic hand that can distinguish between the force necessary to, say, hold an egg without cracking it and the force necessary to lift a heavy pot without dropping it.

એક સાથી કામદારનું મૃત્યુ થયાના આ સમાચારે, પહેલાં તો બધાંને સ્વાભાવીક રીતે દુખ થયું. પણ પછી આ વ્યક્તી કોણ છે તે જાણવાની બધાંને ઈંતેજારી પણ થઈ. બધા કસરતના હોલમાં એ વ્યક્તીને માન આપવા ભેગા થવા માંડ્યા. જેમ જેમ હાજરી વધતી ગઈ; તેમ તેમ સૌની ઈંતેજારી પણ વધતી ગઈ.
‘ એવું કોણ હતું કે જે આપણા વીકાસની આડે આવતું હતું? ચાલો હવે તે વ્યક્તી અવલ ધામ પહોંચી ગઈ, તે તો સારું જ થહ્યું ! ’ બધાંના મનમાં આ જ વીચાર ચાલતો હતો.
બધા એકઠા થયા બાદ કમ્પનીના વડાએ કહ્યું. “કોફીન પાસે વારાફરતી એક એક જણ આવે અને ગુજરી જનારના દર્શન કરી, પોતપોતાની જગ્યાએ જાય.“
ટાંકણી પણ પડે તો સંભળાય તેવા સાર્વજનીક મૌનની વચ્ચે, એક એક વ્યક્તી, તે કોફીનના ખુલા રાખેલા ઢાંકણા પાસે જવા માંડી અને કોફીનમાં નજર નાંખી; અવાક બની પોતાના સ્થાને જવા રવાના થઈ. બધાં વીચાર કરતાં થઈ ગયાં હતાં.
કોફીનની અંદર એક આરસી રાખેલી હતી! સૌને એમાં પોતાનું ‘ ભુત ‘ દેખાયું !!
એની બાજુમાં એક બોર્ડ ઉપર લખેલું હતું,
